All About Netbooks

In this video, I demonstrate using the Cooliris photo wall and the 3D shooter game, Return To Castle Wolfenstein on my EeePC 701. The operating system installed at the time was Mandriva 2009.1.

In this video, I show you how the EeePC 701 is a very capable movie player, once you've encode a video file to a format that is more compatible with the 701's somewhat limited resources.  The OS installed is Q4OS Orion (8.1).

In this video, I show you that even though the Edubook's XCore86 processor wasn't designed for rich media playback, it was capable of playing videos if they were properly encoded.  The OS is a version of PuppyLinux, specifically made for the Edubook.

In this video, I demonstrate that with the right OS and web browser, the 701 can still be used to stream your favorite YouTube videos.
